We recently found out that in Dec. spectomagic and wishes are offered on non MVMCP nights. We would like to dine at LTT one night and then watch the parade and fireworks. If spectro is at 7:00 and wishes right after as may be the case in Dec. what time should we make our ressie for LTT. Also were can we watch on that side of the park, can we see wishes from that side or do we need to move to main street. I just want to get my timing down as my 90 days is not that far away. TIA :wizard:

thanks for the great questions!! We are hoping to do the same thing on our trip in Dec. I can't wait for any advice on this.

You can see Spectro from near LTT, but not a good view of Wishes. Since it's only shown limited nights in December because of MVMCP, I would eat earlier than 7:00 so you can get a good spot for Spectro and then stay put for Wishes. You'll have to fight the crowds otherwise. I don't like to walk through the cattle-like crowds. So, I would say that if you ate at 5:00 or shortly thereafter, you should be done in time to stake out your spot on Main Street for both. We saw Spectro from Frontierland once and then made our way over to Tomorrowland for Wishes and it was crazy. Way too many people to fight with, especially with a little one (in stroller at the time).

Unfortunately, last years times were all over the place. Spectro as early as 6:00 and as late as 10:00 closer to Christmas and Wishes was as early as 7:00 and as late as 11:00 closer to Christmas. So, I would definately go for 5:00 or close to it in case you hit a night where it is at 6:00. You'll be a little rushed, but since Spectro usually runs from Main Street to Frontierland you should catch it. Enough to drive you crazy right?? :confused3

I'll be there too so we're all in the same boat at least!

I more try to plan for a worst case scenario, and I hate being rushed through dinner, so I would just make it for as early as you can, which I think is 4:00 or 4:30. If you end up with extra time after dinner, you can always hit an attraction or 2, do some shopping, etc.

Thanks tjmouse and raidermatt. We will try for the early ressie and then try to stake out a spot for spectro and wishes. :wizard:

Unless your stuck on having LTT, i would switch that to Tony's. This way, you're right "there" for spectro (maybe even get seated on the porch if you ask) and can just walk out to the end of main street to see wishes. Trust me, you do NOT want stuck back near LTT when spectro ends and wishes starts. It's gridlock and seeing wishes behind the castle is the worst possible place, can't see much at all , in fact. Good Luck!

I would allow around two to two and a half hours. In April due to slow service we missed Spectro because we could not get a spot anywhere. We had only allowed an hour and half I believe. Another time we allowed like two and half hours and we watched Spectro right near LTT and then cut across Liberty Square into Fantasyland and watched Wishes near Dumbo. That spot is actually pretty good for Wishes, except you don't see the front of the castle or Tinker Belle as she flys. It would be a nightmare and probably impossible to see Spectro in Frontierland and then try to see Wishes anywhere near Main Street.

Bumping up for more opinions... Do you think 2 hours+ is the exception rather than the rule? And, is that from the time you arrive or time you are seated?

Thanks!
