LTT or Sci-Fi??

We currently have ADR's at Sci-Fi, but I'm thinking about switching to Liberty Tree Tavern instead. We've eaten at LTT before, and liked it. I'm a little hesitant about Sci-Fi after hearing quite a few not-so-great reviews about the food. So, for those of you who have eaten at both, which one would you pick?

wow, that's a hard one for me. I love both resturants. I think if I had the choice of the two though I'd pick Liberty Tree only because it has comfort food. Si Fi is fun and all because of the atmosphere but you just can't beat the food at LTT

I would say it depends on which park you are going to be in that day.

I personally don't like either that much, but LTT by a landslide between those two. Sci-Fi wasn't that great overall.

I would say it depends on a few things. For one, it depends on where you'll be that day. The other thing would be what you're planning on eating (i.e. lunch, dinner.) I'm partial to Sci-Fi for lunch mainly because I enjoy eating a good burger, fries and milkshake when I'm there as the atmosphere is so much like a drive-in and I want drive-in type food.

Check out the menus on this site and Allears and base it on where you'll be and what menu tempts your tummy.

I like Sci -Fi but for the atmosphere only, to me the food is nothing spectacular. I like Liberty Tree better just because it is more lively. But honestly they are both restaurants that my family will be visiting next trip.

We love Sci-fi. The burgers and shakes are really good. The atmosphere is great. We eat there every trip. Sometimes more than once.

We were a little worried about Sci-Fi because of the bad reviews but we had a great time ! The food was good (we got burgers,it's kinda hard to mess up a burger) and the atmosphere is really funny. We'll do it again

But really, it depends on which park you want to go to that day.

DH and I really enjoy LTT - we do lunch since its just the two of us. Have not been to Sci Fi, but I also think that the most important factor is where you will be that day.

I love them both and go to both most trips. In fact Sci Fi is the one and only place at WDW we have done each of our 7 (soon to be 8) trips to WDW. I have never had a bad meal, always had great service and just love the whole atmosphere. A lot of people hate Sci Fi, a lot of people say LTT tastes like TV dinners! I don't agree with either sentiment, but that's just my opinion! I agree, go with the one that fits into your touring schedule. Or do both like me!

I've never been to LTT, but I love Scifi (it's our 1 "must do every trip" restaurant). I think some people try to get too fancy there--get burgers, o-rings and shakes. If you like nostalgia and cheesy scifi clips, it's great. If you don't like those things, you won't like it much.

We really enjoyed the Sci-Fi. The atmosphere was excellent! However, the food really isn't up-to-par with the prices. But, if you want a nice place to cool off in, the Sci-Fi is a great choice.
