Which would you pick and why? We haven't eaten at either one. This trip will be just the girls. We plan on doing Cindy's Happily Ever After at the GF and Akershus at Epcot. DD wanted CP but it is closed during our visit.

hhhmmmm........we have eaten at both. LTT has a more extended menu, but the wait, even w/a ADR, can be long. the food on the lunch menu is very good and of course "thanksgiving dinner" in the evening is good. the plaza is not as large nor is the menu. it is mostly sandwiches, burgers, and salads. and of course those wonderful ice cream desserts. we have never had a long wait at the plaza. it also serves some of the best iced tea in wdw!! i don't think you could go wrong w/either choice. not much longer now.....and it will be time to go:yay:

i have been to both but i can honestly say that I love LTT. The food is absoutly delicious. we went for the dinner and it was our first time and we loved loved!

I have been to both locations for lunch and I would go with LTT. In my opinion I thought their food was much better and I liked their atmosphere a lot more.

We've been to both. We really enjoyed our meal at LTT, but we LOVE The Plaza and it has become a tradition to have our last meal there before we leave for the beach, the airport, home...whatever. It is a nice change of pace from all the heavy meals we eat during the week. Just be sure to save room for dessert. :worship:

I thought the characters were coming back to LTT in 2010? That's one of the reasons why we picked it.

With characters back I would be sure to try LTT great food and character interaction.:goodvibes:goodvibes Danny

We haven't been to LTT but we LOVE the Plaza!:lovestruc It is one of our favorite places to eat! Their burgers are really good, and their club sandwich is one of the best ever.

As far as character, word on the street is that it will be Minnie, Chip & Dale, and someone else (I think Pluto.. but not entirely sure).

Also, the meal offered at lunch will be similar (or the same) as the dinner offered now and not the current lunch menu. (This is the reason I cancelled it for my trip in Feb.. I wanted that lunch menu :( ). Something to keep in mind when comparing lunch menus.

We've eaten at LTT several times, but on a (very) recent trip tried the Plaza and loved it! Perhaps the fact that we were seated at a cozy corner table with a view out the window on a fabulously lovely sunny November day, had something to do with our perception. The food was simple, but very good. We would eat at the Plaza again.:thumbsup2
