Mom (50 something...first trip...fun loving)
Grandma (70 something..first trip..using an ECV)

We have tickets to MVMCP on December 12. We are staying at the AKL. I have made priority seating at both Boma and LTT. My husband and I ate at Boma in May and liked it. The nice thing about Boma is we can head back to the resort for a late afternoon break, have dinner at 5pm and then go to party all refreshed.

We have priority for 5:40 at LTT but we have never eaten here. Downside is we would most like just stay at park all day if we go this route.

What is the food quality like at LTT?

Another option could possibly be Chef Mickey's or Whispering Canyon but I feared the transportation from these two resorts could be a bit harrowing right before the party.

Thanks for your input!!

My advice is to eat at the LTT and save Boma's for another evening. I think you will find that you will feel rushed at Boma's (not a good thing) if you are going to the MVMCP afterwards. Also transportation to the MK with an ECV may take longer than planned, even if you drive.

That said, I think an entire day at the MK plus the MVMCP is way too much and even with the ECV, will be very tiring for your Grandmother (and maybe the rest of you, too). Perhaps you could rearrange your itinerary to arrive at the MK mid afternoon. (Maybe spend the morning somewhere else and go back to the AKL for lunch and an afternoon rest period).

We enjoyed the LTT before MVMCP last year. The food was OK (not super great like Boma's, but OK to good). You can see the menu on WDWIG. The characters were fun to see in their Holiday finery. It was also fun to see them interact with the children in the restaurant. We liked being in the back of the park before the masses arrived and managed to get our picture taken early without standing in a line. IMHO, you will appreciate being in the park ahead of the crowd.

MVMCP is loads of fun - don't miss the parade and the special fireworks!

Thanks for the advise, Carol. You are right, the idea of being in the park before everyone else gets there is quite appealing, even if the food is not the "real" reason we would be there.

I suppose I will most likely keep the LTT priority seating.

Thanks again!
