LTT - can't decide

Could someone who has recently eaten here give me more a specific description of the the turkey, ham and other meats served. Specifically is it "real" turkey, ham, etc. or the kind that is you would find in a Stouffer's frozen meal.

We have some real picky eaters and the meal sounds great but I know everyone would be disappointed if it is more like turkey roll or ham out of a can. TIA

i ate there 2 wks ago sunday. We were all VERY stuffed after the meal. To our family at least, it does not seem like a frozen meal. Yes the mac n' cheese is stouffers made but the rest of the meal is not. My roommate in college worked there as a character and said 100% the meal is prepared but it comes quickly b/c at dinner it is the only meal they serve so its quick to prepare. We had the salad which was very yummy w/the dressing, bread, and then the meal. I personally do not like the "other meat" but i enjoy the turkey and the ham. The mac n' cheese is awesome (much better than kraft lol) and the mashed potatoes are very yummy w/the gravy, i did not have the stuffing this trip but everyone said it was good. The green beans are 100% wonderful with some kinda seasoning, and for dessert they changed the cherry which was had 2 yrs ago but ours this yr was peach so they musta changed it up but the peach was sooo much better w/ice cream of course.

we also found out you can buy the mugs for 5 bucks so we bought ones from a little present from the place. The characters were great and most had come before our dinner did which was nice. Also on the DDP you can get the special non-alcoholic drinks and it only costs 1 meal instead of some 2 credit character meals.

Overall, we will go every year and expect to be stuffed every year as well. My brother and I are 20 and 22 and we enjoy the meal b/c we are a little "too old" for the princess themed meals so this one offers great hot food, and wonderful characters. Let me know if u want me to send u some pics of the characters..some food mite be int he pics as well.

We were there on the 23rd and thought the food was good. In addition to the mac and cheese being Stouffers the stuffing is as well. We thought the food was delicious with DD4 loving the ham, DH the turkey, and I liked the flank steak (I thought it was spicy and good). The first plate of meat they sent out was dry and withered and I asked the server for another plate that hadn't hung around so long and she brought out a nice hot plate of meats that were perfect. All the side dishes were delicious.

The character interaction here was better than any of the character meals we went to on this trip. We were able to see all the characters twice (Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale).

Also, with the exception of the dinner shows (which aren't really character meals but sometimes they are thought of that way) the only character meal that is two credits on the DDP is CRT.

Thank you for the replies. It sounds like a place we would like, my DH is the real picky one, especially when it comes to meat and poultry. Turkey/Chicken has to be all white meat, not processed or pressed in any way. The sides he will be happy with even if they are Stouffers like.

I am going to try to get a ADR there for our last day in August. Thanks for your help.
