I am going to MNSSHP on Oct. 2nd and have reservations for LTT at 8pm. Will I be missing a lot? I would really like to go, but I would also really like to enjoy the park. I feel it may take up a huge portion of the night and we'll miss quite a lot of things. Should I cancel? Has anyone gone this late and can offer some advice?

Thanks

I personally wouldn't do LTT that late on a party night. You could miss some things. LTT is good though, maybe schedule it on another day or earlier (5-6 pm) on the party day if you can get it.

That was the only time I was able to get if I wanted also, and I did feel as if I did not want to waste any of the special party time having dinner. I have a late lunch at WCC at 2:40, then we will head over to be at MK AROUND 5:00. I figure we will have CS, as I can not get any other TS times. I plan to stay away from Cosmic Rays as that can take as long as a sit down, and try for Columbia Harbor HOuse, which seemed a bit off the track when we were there in May. Are you going to be in MK all day - or just for the party? It is a tough decision, but overall for my family, I figuredthe party would be the big draw, not the food.

We have a ADR at 7:20 that night (DS5 and DD2). That was the earliest we could get. We're going to hit MK around 4:00 and enjoy it while everyone else is beginning to clear out. I heard there are some pros and cons. Here are the pros:

MK tends to clear out early on MNSSHP night and is not crowded at all between 5 and 7.

Even though you are put in tomorrowland between 6 and 7, it isn't too crowded so you can enjoy the rides. Many people eat at this time.

Counter service is really crowded this night, as the previous poster said, and it takes just as long to get counter service if you are hungry at that time of night.

Ultimately, since it is the only time we could get, we will just feel it out that night, if we feel like taking the time for dinner, we will. If we don't, we won't. Just be flexible. You've got nothing to lose either way!

I would never eat in a sit down after 6:00p myself. I want to be out and about for the whole party.

I think 8:00p is really late and you might miss the fireworks. I enjoy the fireworks.

If there was nothing available at MK, I'd try a monorail restaurant, or I'd just do one of the counter services. Counter Service isn't that crowded during the party, except maybe at Cosmic Rays, for that one hour the park is closed and since it's the only one open for that hour.

FYI...I walked over to Tomorrowland at about 6:30p in 2003 and it was a ZOO. I swore I'd never go there again between 6:00p and 7:00p.

My opinion?! Don't cancel!!! We are going to LTT at 6:40 that night too. Yes we might miss somethings but there is 2 of everything. 2 parades, and 2 stage front shows! The rides won't go anywhere plus I hear you can get in as early as 4 PM the day of the park with your Halloween ticket. The park is open till midnight so live it up. LTT is different on the party nights simply because all of the characters are dressed up too. DON'T cancel I really think you will regrett it if you do :fish: !!!!!

I have been thinking about this same situation - We have ADR for 8:00 on 10/2, and I am worried about missing too much of the party. Last year, we ate PB&J sandwiches in the room while we put costumes on!! I'm telling myself that the LTT meal IS part of the party, and not just eating...hope my DH and children feel the same way!! pirate:
