We paid $330 (including tax) per ticket for travel this fall on Delta. It was our best deal because this year was the first time we tried to get our tickets on sale (previously we had used a TA and paid much more -- never again!).
So I guess I got a good deal, I payed $328 per adult and $296 per children (taxes included), but it's a charter, anyway hopes it works out, it's Canada 3000.
My wife tells me (she spoke to the travel agent) we were recently quoted a price of $299 (including tax) for Canada 3000 in the first week of September.
Canada3000 does have great rates. The best seem to be for Saturday to Saturday flights. The one you got, Coni, was probably about as good as it was going to get for your travel dates. Other airlines usually go for $500+ to Orlando. Unfortunately since Canada3000 is smaller, it's cheaper, but it doesn't always have flights on the days or times someone wants to travel. The lack of flights for our travel time was why we had to sale watch. The fares were basically consistent at starting at $500 and then one day Delta had a sale down to just below $330 and we jumped on it! That fare was sold out by the end of the next day (at least for our travel time). I'm hoping that, in the future, the popularity of Canada3000 will cause the rates for other airlines to go down as well. Life would be so much easier then.
