I tried to check for a lower rate for a mini-van in June but it says that
the vans are sold out!!
So how do I check for a lower rate now? Should I call National and ask if there's a lower rate available??

Thanks for posting. I saved another $15. Price started at $211 in February (no code). Now down to $137.

tiggersgirl- make sure you clear your cookies and internet files. That message or similar ones come up a lot if the cookies aren't cleared.

do not think this lowers your reservation for a week

but someone could try it with and with out the product rate code of eweb to find out

Got a 10 day EA rental down from $310 (reservation made March 5) to $178.21 (reservation made tonight). The sad thing about all this is, I've been using the same code and coupon the entire time AND I'll keep trying to save more until the day we leave for FL, June 4 !!!! Every little bit helps.

Actually, I didn't use the eweb code.

I follow Gail Hayden's advice. It seems that if a rate code applies, National will automatically put it in for you.

I checked for a quote for 15 days in September/October on the National site using your parameters. The total cost saving for my rental is $31.71 vs. a previous quote.

It concerns me that the new quote does not include the Concession Fee Recovery Charge of 9.8% which is listed in my original quote at $29.77. This might be a computer glitch; the charge may appear on your bill when you return the vehicle.

Surcharges and Taxes are subject to change as indicated on the National website.

This has been discussed before. Someone called National about this. According to them, Priceline (the 6600330 code) has a deal with National not to charge the fee.

It was already down to 147.90. I had checked earlier this week and it was 144.xx but didn't bother to rebook for $3.00. But $13 is a different matter.

That's a meal. I wouldn't have believed it would go down this much more. Maybe that means lots of availability and lots to choose from on the Aisle. I'll find out in 5 days!

Anyone can use the code. There are coupons on their website and yes, you can use them.

Just got back; used the priceless vacations code and entertainment coupon for a total of $121.23 for a weekly rental on the EA. No problems - just presented coupon and was charged the exact amount on my confirmation. We chose a Saturn Ledo 4 door which had a lot of trunk space.
