Finally! It's a positive thread about gas prices! :cool1: Our price dropped 13 cents over the weekend!

Yay! :yay:

I filled up this morning for $2.99/gallon!! Keep dropping!! Maybe people will have more $ to spend to help stimulate the economy if it gets back to a decent price!

I dont fill up more than once a month, but DH and I were discussing gas prices last night and how they seem to be coming down lately. Right now the best near us is just under $3.50, so we still have quite a ways to go, but $3 would be nice and would start saving people some real money! Gas was close to $4 this summer here, so I guess this is a good start.

Ours is getting better, but still varies about .25 from one station to another!

 Holy cow! Ours is $3.53!

Ours is down to 3.39 today but I have my fingers crossed that it keeps going down. Would like it below $3 by December for our drive to WDW. :thumbsup2

Filled up for $3.37 this morning...down from $3.41 on Thurs...keep dropping!!!

BTW, when does it switch to the winter blend?

It is down to 3.04 a gallon here . BUT with my Tom Thumb grocery discount I got Premium for 2.22 a gallon !! I had to take a picture to post to my Fb :thumbsup2

I noticed it was down the other day to $3.29, we had just filled up on post with our $0.20 off per gallon special at $3.13. I guess I will try to remember to look on the way home this evening.

We are at aroung $3.26 here. Isn't it sad that we think that's a good price??? We are now conditioned to the higher prices.

Man, I'm ready to pack up the family and move down south. Cheap gas, cheap groceries, no snow.....

I have to run premium. It just recently fell below $4.

It is sad. I remember a conversation I had with a coworker several years back when prices first started going well over $2 a gallon. She was sure they were going to come back down soon and I told her once they got us used to higher prices we would never see them under $2 again. Sadly I was right :sad2: I dont work right now so I dont drive much, and I have a very gas efficient car, so I only spend about $35 on gas a month right now, but it DH spends about $50 a week. It would be really nice to see that come down!

saw it for $3.26 yesterday at the station i usually use. hoping the price will come down a few more cents before i need to fill up!

Just saw $3.07 on my way back from lunch in Central NJ. Granted this was cash, credit was $3.17, but even that is great, a few weeks ago I paid over $4.00/gallon.

Gas is 3.19 here. I saw on the news last night that the price in our area was 2.59 at the same time last year. I am just as happy as the next person that gas is lower, but also saddened that we are conditioned to being excited that it's 60 cents more expensive than it was a year ago.
