Lower Disney budget for us next year, where to stay??

I think the only thing that I would miss is fresh towels daily

Twice a day for us if we can get more from housekeeping. Also want the bed making every morning. To some its nothing but to us its something we go on holiday for. One of the reasons we don't enjoy villas/condos.
If these things are not a problem then renting points seems a great option, although I wouldn't pay for DDP, it would work out cheaper for us paying OOP.

We love AKL and AKV ( we have DVC there) another option would be to rent points from a DVC owner (as suggested by Samaya). You would have the option of AKV or EPCOT resorts then. Although Im not sure how smooth a process it is to rent points and it comes with an element of risk, which you don’t have when you book a package deal.

Can't recommend renting points from David's enough! We payed the same rate for a week at Kidani as we would have at any of the Mod's.

Only downside is paying up front so far in advance.

i love having the room all made up and tidy when i come back from the park..
i don't have a housekeeper at home, so this is part of the whole vacation experience for me!!

Another one here who enjoys housekeeping and wouldn't enjoy staying in a villa as it would feel too much like being 'at home' if you know what I mean.

We are lucky only to be a small family though, I fully get villas for bigger groups
