We had originally planned to go the WDW, not to do parks, but spring training, big baseball fans. So I planned March 3-7 (thur-Mon), my kids would only miss 3 days of school. Airfare was incredible, I know it was March but $1900 was alot for 5. I played with the dates and now we can go March 7-11 (mon-thur) save points and save $900. So I saved 54 points and $900 in airfare.

To tell the truth, we would of never gone if the airfare was that much. I thought a Sat stayover was cheaper, but it wasn't.

Now I am thinking we can to aleast MK for a day.:bounce:

From now until well after the trip you can compound your enjoyment by thinking of the money you saved --- and by spending it on other things many times over. I could probably rationalize $4,000 to $5,000 in this case. :earsboy:

I totally agree with that, pretty much every commission check my DH gets, after savings and bills, I have it spent at least 10 times over. So now when he tells me the amount he lowers it significantly. Hey a girl can dream.

DH and I are also going in March (March 19-26) to go to spring training. We are not going to the parks this trip. We hope to purchse tickets to games with a couple of hours drive of Orlando, so we hope to see alot of games.

We're also planning to go to Cirque de Soleil for the first time since we don't have the expense of park tickets. Looking forward to that too.

mom23boys, we have not see discounted airfares for March yet. Most end before our trip. What airline did you book?

goofy,

We booked USair. Soutwest is only running their schedule through early March. In Philadelphia, we really do not have many options in airlines USair pretty much runs the show. Have fun at the games.
