Hi everyone...
I was just talking to BF about how we are going to pay for our next trip in 2007...Here's my question...
If we book say the first day prices come out in Sept. Can anyone tell me what price we MIGHT GET...or what they have paid for 2006 and I'll tack on like 15% and see what I get...
Our last trip I didnt have a car payment...however, that poor car died...and I needed a new one...SO...I am + a car payment adn we want to go to disney!!!
Feel free to PM me with what prices you got if you dont want to put them on the board...thank you!!!

Hi. This is a hard one. It really depends on where the Magic is going next summer. When the dates for the repositioning and west coast cruises came out, the price tripled in weeks, sometimes days!

Have you talked to a travel agent? There are lots of qualified agents talked about on these boards. Or how about checking out Allseastravel.com-the prices for 2006 are listed, by week, right on their site.

I'm just trying to get a ball park figure...I will check all seas...I know that prices can really get up there...I think in the past month for Nov of this year it has already gone up 200 $ for the stuff that we want...
I'm hoping we can book soon enough so that we get a good low price...
I love these boards-cant wait for the word to start buzzing around here...
I have a great TA...so I will ask her also...
Here's a question can I book on DCL web site and then transfer to my TA?
How early can you book online the day they open...is it worth getting up that early to book and then transfer ressies???
I REALLY NEED A GOOD PRICE...so YES it will be very worth it to wake up super early...but what time do I set the alarm for? :earseek:

Not that I'm encouraging you to book and later cancel... but when you book there is only a per person deposit required (for the 11 night it was $350 per person). The balance of our trip isn't due until like 90 days prior to sailing, so we plan to pay either to ourselves (so we can sit on the money) or to DCL via the website a payment type plan. Our goal is to ensure we paid in full so we can book online resies when it opens up.

I've also seen the prices in certain cats go up anywhere from $400 - $700 based on 2 people since the 11 day was opened up.

Hope this helps! Have fun.

It's true, the DISboards knew before the fact, what day the 2006 prices were to be released. So I expect someone will find out somthing, soon.

I did read on the repo thread, I think, that 2007 rates might be released in October.

Yes, you can book with DCL and then transfer to your TA. I don't know who your TA is but, the several who are consistantly mentioned on the boards were able to take requests ahead of time and then book the day the rates came out. All Seasons Travel and Dreams Unlimited were two that I know did this.

And DCL is on Eastern time. I'm not sure what time the phones open, but then you could just book online.

One more thing, I don't think the 2007 dates and places is going to be any BIG deal-not like summer 2006. If it were-we'd have heard by now! :earboy2:

I know about the pricing bit-thats how I got BF to ok the first trip ( he was afraid that something might happen and we would have to cancel and didnt want to get stuck loosing $400 down payment)...now he loves it so much he wont go on anything else but DCL  I cant say that I'm complaining...I just want to figure out the best way to get the best price and what that might be-we cant really afford that $700 hike in 11days :guilty: ...so the sooner we book the better... :teeth: the deposit has already been set aside...I just have to figure out how much I have to pitch to BF to agree to this one and since I paid for the last trip...get him to help out a little more this time around...meaning-cheaper price=easier to do. :teacher: .. Since I have a car payment that I didnt have last time I cant do it all myself...which he understands and so we will come to a good compromise...
