Low Limit Disney Chase Credit Card??

DH and I applied around the same time 3 years ago. My card has a $2500 limit, and his has a $5500 limit.

I hate to hijack the thread, but does anyone know if it would be possible to merge the two accounts? It would be so much easier to pay one bill instead of two, especially since they're due at the same time every month.

I tried to do that once with another type of card. It's a pain, so what's easiest is to quit using yours and have you added to your husband's so they send a new card with his number for you. They usually will only transfer debt using a balance transfer, and sometimes that can be expensive, but sometimes they have incentives to do it, like 0% for 6 mos. You don't want to cancel the card though - sometimes that is perceived as a bad mark on credit reports - just quit using it and put it away.

I applied last week and got a $7,500 credit limit. How does the rewards program work?

You get $1 for every $100 in purchases. Once you have $20, you can request a rewards card and transfer your reward dollars to the card. You can earn $25 with a referral and some people get offers like double rewards on gasoline purchases, etc.

I applied last month and got a $4000 limit. I have another Chase card with a $30,000 limit. I thought my Disney card limit would be higher, but I added my fiance as an additional cardholder and his credit isn't so hot, so maybe that's why. Plus, I already have a large limit with them, they maybe don't want to overextend . . .
