Low Key lighting?

Does anyone here use this technique? What kind of lights do you use? Will halogeon work lights work?

I know people who use halogen worklights, I personally will not, when I actually bought halogen worklights for working purposes, I actually took the time to read the instructions first, there was a rather large, and specific warning, stating that they should not be aimed at people because they can cause cancer, granted I think living causes cancer, but the warning still bothered me..

I watched a thing online where they changed the halogen bulbs out for CF bulbs. Will that work? I have an example I did with a flashlight earlier .
