Just had to let everyone know what a fabulous day today was :)
I Started out a little apprehensive being it is a grad night, and the park closes early. But what a great day! The crowds were zero :cool1:
We started by having breakfast at RBT@ 8am and it was empty! Hot pancakes without the heat lamp LOL. I expected more people for June.
Took my coffee and we rode the jungle cruise what's great way to have my morning coffee :)
Most rides were walk on, especially before noon.
Even after 3 the crowds were light. It was heaven to wander around and get to see everything ( really soak it in)without elbowing everyone.
No lines for food, BB was taking walk ups this evening 20 min wait :)
The weather was cool and breezy too.
Just had to tell everyone what a joy today was, I love Disneyland

well that is awesome i arrive on sunday thinking about coming down on sat 1 day early i can't wait.

This just about describes our entire June 2006 trip. The weather was absolutely perfect and the crowds were great. Fast forward to June 2008--I promised BFF that DL was WAY nicer than WDW in early summer in terms of crowds and weather. Lot's of "June gloom", I said. Of course, it was a curse--most of the week we were there was in the upper 90s and most days had wall-to-wall people.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we luck out with weather and crowds during our August trip this summer.

That sounds heavenly! We used to always go in June and at least half of the days were like your experience.

Unfortunetly, we cannot go in June this year. :sad1: Too many snow days to make up this year. At least it will be toasty in August. Can't wait!

Sounds fabulous! I'm so jealous. Dh teaches and we can only go during school vacations, which means major crowds.

We have snow days to make up too, which is a bummer. I almost planned a trip to DLR this year for June because our two boys' birthdays are in June. (Ryan's birthday is on June 15th, he'll be 10; Luke's birthday is on June 16th, he'll be 6.) I thought what a perfect time to go to DLR this year, since our boys' birthdays are only a day apart, and they could each get a Disneyland birthday gift card because of the "Celebrations" promotion, and there are such good travel deals right now. But the school year was extended to make up for snow days, which put a bit of a damper on planning a trip. Plus, it's my hubby's busy season for his work, so it's probably a good thing we're not going anyway.

Have fun on your trip in August. :yay:

Yea! We arrive on Sunday and the weather looks fab! I was a bit worried about the crowds, but I'm hoping the low attendance continues.

Not to put a "damper" on things, but all week we've had pretty heavy June gloom. Even some rain and thunderstorms. Today it looks like it's going to rain at anytime. :umbrella: but I do think next week's forecast is looking up.

My dream is to go to Disneyland in the rain and have it down pouring all week :lmao::lmao: The best time I ever had it rained cats and dogs and the park was empty and we rode everything over and over. some rides no but I can live with out tea cups and dumbo :lmao:

Wednesday coming here there was lightning and dust storms on 5 before the grapevine. Actually scared me to death, thought a big truck was going to hit us in the dust.
But when wegot to Anaheim it was just cloudy and a couple sprinkles in the afternoon.
Thursday was the best and today the sun is starting to peak thru the clouds.
Give me June gloom anytime! LOL:banana:

Your August trip will be very warm to hot and busy especially mid day. I can not wait.
