Low Carb Steak Sauce

This may have been discussed in my *ahem* "absence", but in my grocery store, they have a large display of a product line called "Carb Options". These mainly are marinades and sauces produced by various manufacturers. They have about a dozen different products like a substitute for Miracle Whip, barbecuse sauce, etc. The one that I tried tonight was a WONDERFUL steak sauce by Lawry's. It has 1 impact carb per serving (1 TBSP). This stuff fills SUCH a void for me. It is similar to A1, and makes eating a steak so much more enjoyable!!!

I'll have to see if I can't find this for my husband. He misses steak sauce.

It is sugar free, right? He hasn't had sugar since 1/9/03 and he won't go back, now.

Some of their salad dressings are pretty good, too!

We tried the BBQ sauce and it is very good. It is sweetened with Splenda, not sugar.

I did find the steak sauce and it is wonderful! I was getting a bit tired of garlic butter on my steaks. Kath, it is sugar free.

I may have to try the BBQ sauce next!

ive been looking for ways to cut carbs. this may work out pretty well for me. ill have to pick some up. thanx for the info on it.

I've been eating the Carb Options peanut butter by Skippy, it's so good on Atkins bread toasted!
