Can anyone suggest a low-carb snack bar that TASTES GOOD?
I bought a couple of different ones today and tasted two different brands, both chocolate and BOTH THE MOST VILE THINGS I'VE EVER TASTED!
I'm following the Curves diet which is low carb (not as low as Atkins). It allows for a protein shake (their own) once a day. I'm looking for a snack bar that I could use to substitute for the shake because the shake is just not convenient for me. I need something that I can carry with me between taking DD3 and DD5 to camp, swim lessons, ballet, the park, playdates, etc. I find that by the time I get home to make a shake or eat something healthy the food headache is already setting in and I don't really want to start digging into the snack bag I pack for the DD's. You know the stuff... goldfish, pretzels, granola bars, etc.
Thanks for the help.
