Hello! I've been limiting myself to 30 carbs almost every day. I admitt there have been cheat days. Anyway - I've lost 9 lbs and about this weight I always seem to hit a plateau that I can't get over. When on WW there was this controversial plan called the Dottie plan or something like there where you would eat a high point day, low point day, medium point day, low point day, high point day and so and so on. And it helped a lot of people get over their plateaus. I'm wondering if this would work for carbs. It helps from your metabolism getting stuck in a rut. So I was thinking maybe taking 2 days each week where I can eat 55 carbs instead of 30. Does anyone else do this now? Do you think it would work? I thought maybe I could do it for the next 2 weeks and see how it goes. After that I'm in Disney for a week and won't be counting carbs during vacation. Then when I get back I'll do 30 carbs a day for a week period and then go back to adjusting.

Feedback on this idea would be good. I understand that shaking up the way you eat can sometimes get you over the hump.

WOW good question! And Im with that! lol.
I remember a tread along these lines but it wasnt specif about a particular diet. Something like 2 days on 2 off. I'll be waiting for a reply as well. lol

I've heard of people busting plateaus this way. I say it can't hurt to try it. However, be careful how you get those extra carbs. If you eat junk food, it could bring back your sugar cravings. If you use fruit or extra veggies, then I'd say why not?

Let us know if it works, OK?
