Low Bandwidth Warning?

Ok so VMK slowed way down. I exited to try to get back in and see if it would be better and now I can't load pages for a few minutes. When log in screen comes up it says Low Bandwidth warning in red across top of page and I can't log in. What is this about? Is it just me?
 
Well, I can recall from business class there is High Bandwidth and Low bandwidth. As you can probably tell by the names one is better speed than the other. Maybe VMK is too much for a low bandwidth to handle.
 
Well why the bandwidth issue? We play all the time and we have high speed digital cable. Hmm.

Not just you... I've received that message before and have cable also. Think it must be something on their end.
 

VMK has the unfortunate habit of throwing any warning they can think of at us when they go down. Only one admits it is their fault (the "sorry vmk has gone down" one) all the rest are "catch alls" that make it look like it is our computers or firewalls or whatever. :confused3
 
ok ok heres what happened the vmk staff closed vmk accept for them and the owners and the testers, put some crummy sign up, and all whent into any room without having to wait AND STARTED PARTYING DOWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I also have gotten the flashing red warning at the top of the log in page but it disappeared so quickly I did not get to read the entire message!

I was able to log in, but connection was very slow, so logged out and tried again and it was much better.

This is oh so true. They have had us thinking it was our problems, until we got wise to their problems. :rotfl: I have had the Low Bandwidth issue before, ignored it and no problems.
 
I thought nothing of the Low Bandwidth warning because I do have low
bandwidth. I find it highly amusing that those with broadband high speed
connections get this warning!

I'm hopefully going to be getting Comcast broadband soon, and I'm also
going to buy a memory upgrade. (About this: If anyone thinks Crucial.com
is the "right" place to order memory, please let me know. I haven't used
them before.)
