Low APGAR scores?

My son was born "blue" and had to be resuscitated at birth. His APGAR was 0 and 2!! He just began 2nd grade and is reading on a 5th grade level. He's my angel baby. I wouldn't worry about developmental things based solely on the APGAR.

Our niece's apgar was 1 point above stillborn, whatever # that is. My SIL demanded a c-section because she "knew" something was wrong (my SIL had many problems with this pregnancy, high bp and such). The doctor had wanted to wait until the next day but finally did an ultrasound and then had to rush SIL in to do an emergency section, the cord had become wrapped around her neck. She will be 13 in October and she has never had any developmental problems, she is completely normal.
