After having read another poster's disappointing time with the Dessert Buffet, I was a little worried, but I did the balcony buffet on Sunday, 1/11 and thought it was great.
This was a last minute trip so I called less than two weeks out to try to get tickets. I was told there probably weren't any, but we were actually able to get seats 8 and 9 on the balcony. There were only 11 people there so we weren't seated in rows, more clusters with a little table in front of us for our drinks and plates.
The view from the balcony was wonderful. It was the first time I could actually see the whole show. Surprisingly, my friend and I were the only ones who really ate anything from the buffet. We skipped dinner and then heaped our plates. I was quickly sugared out so thank goodness for the cheese and crackers and fruit kebobs. The others at the buffet ate very little or nothing. When we left only one piece of cheesecake was gone and only two pieces of Black Forest cake were gone. I wondered what they did with all that left over food.
I would definately do this again. A big splurge, but a nice one!
