I loved the Disneyland show! Wow Tony, I am impressed with all of the information about traveling to San Diego with out a car...I think you should make that info a sticky somewhere on the Disneyland boards because I think that could help a lot of people afraid to make the trek down to San Diego (which is so worth the trek!). And no, Wendy is not a liar- In and Out is that cheap. And it is good, it is the only fast food that my husband and I will eat :) My favorite food joint in San Diego is The Mission, they have 3 restaurants in San Diego and they serve breakfast and lunch that is to die for and really good prices, I am drooling on my keyboard just thinking about it. And Nancy the Zoetrope is awesome and you are right, I think few people head in there to see it! And we always ride Hemlich's Chew Chew Train even though we are two adults :rolleyes1

Here is a you tube video of the zoetrope, but it doesn't really do it justice- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fVQI1CukczA&feature=related

We're excited for the feedback - especially since this was really our first show with real segments. We have some really great stuff planned - we have some great team chemistry... just wait until you get to hear the Storytellers breakfast review we did.

Sausage talk!

I wanted to second that! You guys did a great job!:cool1::cool1::cool1:

So how long has the zoetrope been there? Did I miss it if I was there in Jan 2008?

Hey Kathy - it didn't arrive until after September 2008.

It was in Seoul, South Korea at the Seoul Arts Center with the Pixar 20th anniversary display - originally featured at the Museum of Modern Art in late 2005-2006. The zoetrope was made for that exhibit.

Simply way cool..... my girls love it!

Oh the Storytellers breakfast, yeah! I haven't ever been, but I am curious about it, so I can't wait to hear what you guys think. It looks like a fun place to eat breakfast. Hopefully we can drag in some more listeners from the Disneyland boards, because I don't think too many people from there listen to the podcast. But I see you on there all the time Nancy :)

You sure it wasn't 2007 maybe. We were there in Nov./07 and June/08 and I think it was there both times. I know it was there last June for sure. It's fantastic though. One of the coolest things I've seen. So many people quickly walk in and out of that room before they even realize what is going to happen. Glad I saw it.

Me too! I can't believe they referred to my e-mail again. :worship: Thanks to the Disneyland correspondents, I know all the detailed information you gave is really going to help me in planning my trip. I'm going to have to listen to the podcast again just to get all the websites.

I might even have a burger at In/Out during my trip since now I know there will be one so close by, although I doubt they're going to beat my favorite, Wendy's:rotfl:.

I can't wait to see the zoetrope and try to get decent video of it. Thanks again guys for a great show.

Can we have more podcasts about Disneyland soon?

I thought it had been there longer, too, but when I went to do my internet research, the Korea Times article I found for the Korean exhibit said 2008.

Ok. I was getting mad at myself for missing this. Something to check out the next time I go to DL.

Mel, I just found this promotion on the SeaWorld San Diego site, and posted a thread on it. It might be worth checking out for you.

You guys did a great job. Looking forward to future episodes that involve the Disneyland correspondents :thumbsup2

Ok, I'm sure it is a silly question but I can't find this one. Can someone link me to it? I heard the first DLR podcast but this seems to the be 2nd and I can't find it. All I see is the reg. WDW one. Help. :worship:

Loved hearing you guys talk about Disneyland and Southern California! You all gave some excellent info, and now I want to try those restaurants Wendy recommended. Lol. I haven't eaten at In & Out for a few years now. And, I've never seen the zoetrope, so I'm going to have to check that out, too. :)

Great job! :thumbsup2

I know the zoetrope was there in April 2008 because I took a bad video of it during my F&W Fest trip. I was using an older digital camera where movie mode had no sound.

I guess the Korean Newspaper was off a year! OMG - too funny! You realize that every web source says 2008 because of that - even Wikipedia. Isn't often you find such a big mistake like that...

That being said - Mary Jo - I'm with John and Kevin on the In and Out - be careful - they go right through you!!!! Had one 2 Sundays ago. Both Ian and I suffered PI&OS (Post In & Out Syndrome!!!) :rotfl2:

I'm more excited then ever to go to Disneyland/SoCal! I'm hoping next year to do a Mariner of the Seas cruise (We love that ship!) and pair it with a DL/SoCal vacation. I'm putting this podcast in my archives. Thanks for all your hard work!
