Loved Kidani Village!

Hello!

A quick trip report about our 2 night stay this past weekend at Kidani Village.

We loved it.

The resort is quiet and clean - spotless! The staff was very friendly. The pool area was just right - not over-crowded, no one saving seats with beach towels. We even got seats at the pool bar eating area. We will definitely return!

Sanaa is amazing - great dinner. Food, drink, atmosphere - A+. Best part of our trip.

We had a 2BR Savannah View and we saw so many animals.

The best part - we were traveling with friends who had not been to Disney in 2 decades and are always asking us why we go so much. Now, they get it!

Did the animals come close to your room?? Or is there a good distance between you and them?

Cannot answer that for orginal poster but the way AKL is set up, between the building and the savanna is a dirt service road for the workers, just beyond that in the savavanna is an eletrical fence that you do not really see (it looks like a lot of little bushes spaced apart from each other), the result is the animals can get as close as about 15 yards from the building and they do wander up that close many times.

We added points at AKL a couple of years ago and we have not been disappointed. We highly recommend the concierge level. They have all kinds of complimentary food throughout the day as well as alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks. The concierge level makes you feel like royalty!!!

I was really impressed with Kidani also! We were there this past June and just loved it. Pool was great, food fabulous, cast members friendly and helpful, and it was so beautifully decorated....loved the artwork!!! Loved sitting on the patio watching the animals or just roaming the resort. Fun place!

We love Kidani as well. IMHO - the pool, underground parking, cast members, cleanliness are the best. The only bad is the walk to the bus stop & drink station (AWFUL) if you are near the end of the "horns".

Got my Grand Villa reserved for May/June and am taking my kids and grandchildren. We can't wait to show off our new "home" to our family. It is a little slice of heaven to me.
