I haven't been to WDW in 12 years and now its time for my family to enjoy the magic. After reading about all the great experiences at the WL, I had to book a vacation. My DW, DS(5), DD(3), and I have requested a woods view on the 5th floor with a view of the Otter Pond for Nov. 2 thru Nov. 8 and we can't wait. I have been reading all your posts over the last month or so and figured to join in the fun. I'm new to on-line forums so this will be a great introduction and I'll become a Wilderness Lodge Vet while I'm at it. I am also a suffering METS fan who needs a vacation BADDDDLY.

Wow, 12 years! I'll bet you don't wait that long between visits after your upcoming vacation. While I love going to WDW every year and wouldn't have it any other way, there is a little part of me that is envious of you seeing all the new things that WDW offers for the very first time. It will be overwhelming to say the least. The boards are a great way of gathering all the experience of the frequent Disneyworlders with the exhilaration of seeing things for the first time. I assume you know about faxing your room request in to the WL a couple days before your arrival, right? I wish you a huge dose of magic on your return to the world.
