Love DVC!!!

This morning I booked an impromptu trip to WDW. 3 nights at OKW second week of December, specifically to get to see the Osbourne Lights one last time! No way I would have been able to do that if we were not DVC members!! I was able to get a 2 bedroom for the 6 of us, booked airfare today and now I just need to get park passes. We are thinking of just getting the one day pass and spending the whole day in MGM. We were just there for a week in June, so we figure do MGM and just chill out the other 2 days. Maybe we will do a resort tour to see the decorations or just hang by the pool if the weather is good. Anyone else plan a trip just to see the lights before they are gone? Am I crazy??!!

I don't think you're crazy, Riatees! I am pretty bummed that they are going to do away with the Osburne family lights at the Studios myself. Can't believe it really, I think they are beyond fabulous! And early December is a great time to do the park(s) or just enjoy my favorite DVC resort…OKW!! Have fun!!

We will be at PVB the 2nd week of Dec for DW and mine's annual Christmas get away and birthday for DW. We have gone the 2nd week of Dec every year since '93 on a DVC trip to enjoy the Christmas season for ourselves. Have fun and enjoy your time at OKW.

I can't take a trip for the lights, but I'm glad I have the memories. They were beautiful. We'd stay till the very end, when everyone cleared out. It was so magical.
