Love DVC!

We've been home for about 2 weeks now, and I have to say again how much we love DVC. We took our son for his second trip at the beginning of September. He turned 1 at the end of August, so my in-laws came with us for a birthday celebration. Because of DVC, we were able to cover their accommodations. Not that they needed us to cover them, but it was so nice to be able to do that for them. We had a wonderful trip. We don't have good enough memories to do a trip report with pictures, but we always make a video. It is so fun to watch and relive the memories. We didn't get to do everything available at Disney World, but the beauty of DVC is that we know we'll be back again.

We always watch other people's videos to get us through the trip-less times. We hope some of you will enjoy this video as you wait your turn to head down to WDW. Here is the link.

We had a big family christmas get together in GCV 3 years ago and we footed the accommodation as well. It was one of the best get togethers we had.
Tons of points but we had a blast too

I don't think we have enough points for a Christmas gathering. We had to go in September for the cheap points. Still, it is so nice that DVC affords us the opportunity to treat. DH's parents have been very generous with us, and it is nice to feel like we can give them something back. Of course, they did spend on airfare and park tickets, but they would have flown to visit us anyway, right?

And yes, he does suck his thumb - when he's tired. We don't know how he decided to it. He never really went for the pacifier, and the thumb is convenient for him. However, I'm already worried about getting him to stop some day. A pacifier I can throw away - not a thumb!

What a fantastic video! I wish I could get all organized with all my videos and make them into something fabulous like you have You are never too young for Disney - and even though they may not remember that first trip - they will have a great video to watch and think how cool their mum & dad was to take them to Disney World on their first birthday I took my kids to Disney when my youngest was 2 years old, they love watching the videos of that trip and looking through the photos, they certainly would have been taken earlier if Disney was closer! Thanks for the great watch, you have a beautiful family. DVC is great for a young family, we bought in on our last trip - best decision of our lives.

Very nice video!
Took DGS last weekend for his 2nd birthday. DD & DSiL were at a friends wedding, so the timing worked out great for everyone.
We love DVC for giving us the memories of great vacations that we never would of been able to take, if it weren't for DVC.
With over 100+ vacations and many more still to come (6 DVCs and 1 DCL already booked) over the next year, at least; we will continue to be looking forward to many more great memories.

You are never too young for Disney - and even though they may not remember that first trip - they will have a great video to watch and think how cool their mum & dad was to take them to Disney World on their first birthday

I completely agree with this. Even though a child may be too young to remember you are still making family memories that are wonderful to have!!

Thanks for the kind words. I can't take credit - my husband is our video maker, but you're right, they are fun memories to watch through. I agree that DVC is a great "investment" for a young family. I know it isn't an investment in the financial definition, but it has been a great tool for our family both before and now with kids.

It sounds like you have a great year ahead with DVC. It is such a blessing for our family. I am so glad you enjoyed the one-on-one time with your grandson.

The characters are AWESOME with young ones. They are really patient and fun. We had a great time with them.

You'll never convince me that anyone is too young for a trip. We as parents get to make wonderful memories.
