Can someone please tell me when those annoying Love Bugs usually come out? I can't remember if it's August or September!

From my recollection of my time as a Floridian, love bug season starts the end of August and lasts between 3-5 weeks. So it covers both August and September.

I went in late August / early September in 2013 and 2014 and never saw one love bug... guess we got lucky, or maybe we left right before the love bug season started.

Just some personal experience. We went end of September into October and saw maybe a couple of Love Bugs, didn't really notice them.

We didn't see a single love bug during our end of August stay last year. We did however see a few this past April.

We were there September 5-11, 2014. I don't *recall* seeing a single love bug. So if they were there, they certainly didn't impact us at all!

FL resident here. You *Love* our Love Bugs from end of March till May and then you get a second chance to *Love* them again from August to end of September.
