Has anyone else seen this movie? Maybe there was a thread earlier that I missed. But DH and I saw this last night. It was amazing! I cried 10 times if I cried once. Definitely a movie to purchase when it is available. There were actually men in the theater who cried too! The only loose end I couldn't really figure out was what happened to the office hottie (her male co-worker she's been in love with for over 2 years)? I know she spent Christmas with her brother at the hospital. But I really felt a loose end on that relationship. Did I miss something?

Saw it awhile ago. It was discussed when it first came out.
I only thought it was so-so.....didn't see anyone crying.

I got the impression that her relationships just always ended that way....brother first, men second...so, NO relationships lasted through that. She was back to being alone with her brother calling her all the time

I loved this movie too. Saw it a couple of weeks ago with a friend for a "girls day out" and thought it was fabulous. The soundtrack is great too, I picked it up the next day. I thought it was great partly because it wasn't your usual romantic comedy. Now our theory with the co-workers story was that they were using that storyline to showcase a different type of love, love for your brother/sister. She sacraficed a romantic relationship to be there for her brother. Just our theory. Glad you liked it too.

Oh thank you! I too loved the music and didn't know there was a soundtrack! I'll have to tell Santa I would love to have that.

My DH and I saw it last month and we both really enjoyed it. Love the aging rock star!
