How busy are the lounges (Tambu/wave/blue zoo/nomad) at fairly low crowd times (first week in May) in the late afternoon/early evening?

Crew's Cup and the Wave have been slow in the afternoon when we've gone in May. Pick up though as the evening progresses with people showing up for dinner

Tambu is almost always busy. Crowd levels are irrelevant. It is overflow wait area for Ohana and Ohana books solid regardless of so-called crowd level.

Nomad lounge is excellent, it is still not too crowded but when Pandora opens (end of May) I would image it will get crowded! I would try Nomad's this trip.
