HI!
My girlfriend and I will be going to Disney in May and I do not want to make too many ADRs. However, I know a lot of the restaurants have Lounges/bars. I have never tried any of these and was wondering if anyone could give me some info. How hard is it to get two seats? Which ones serve a full menu? Which are your guys' favorites?

Thanks!

1. Not hard at all.
2. If you only want the ones that serve the full menu and don't limit it to an appetizer menu:

Magic Kingdom Area
Citricos
Narcoosees
California Grill
The Wave
It may be possible to get Artist Point menu at Territory Lounge, it will depend on how busy it is, and it must be during Artist Point operation hours
I am not sure if Kona Café will do full menu at its sushi bar.
There are no lounges inside Magic Kingdom.

Epcot and area
Tutto Gusto (Tutto Italia menu)
Il Mulino
Bluezoo
Kimonos
Flying Fish (currently closed for renovations)

Animal Kingdom and area
Yak & Yeti
Sanaa
Jiko (Cape Wine Bar, not Victoria Falls)
Soon, there will be Tiffins and the Nomad Lounge. Don't know how this will work out for eating though.

Hollywood Studios and area
Prime Time Café (Tune Inn Lounge)
Brown Derby (sometimes they will allow ordering only from the lounge menu. It seems to go in cycles.)
See Epcot area for nearby resorts

Disney Springs
Boathouse
Raglan Road
Lava Lounge (outside Rainforest Café)
Portobello
Bongos
Paradiso 37
haven't tried the bar at Morimoto Asia yet but I have heard you can get the full menu.

I love the bar at The Wave at the Contemporary. Has a nice menu - I think it's the full one. DH and I never had a problem getting a seat during the times we visited which were mid August and Thanksgiving week.

The Crews Cup at the Yacht Club has it's own menu and I believe you can order from the Yachtsmen Steakhouse menu as well, I'm not 100% sure of that one).

Crews Cup hasn't allowed ordering from Yachtsman anytime I have been there, so it is not on the list I made above. Its own menu is pretty good though.

Near dining on the Board Walk is the Belle Vue Lounge. It's fashioned after a 1930's salon with plush furniture and vintage radios near some tables playing classic comedies and dramas from that era. There's an outdoor 2nd floor porch, great for discreet people watching, interesting views of bedraggled folks going home from Epcot. Allen makes a great spicy Bloody Mary.

We like doing this as well. There is a lounge at Sanaa that we all loved. There are a few tables in the bar area. My fam of 5 got there about 5 pm and we got seated right away. We ordered the bread service (naan with lots of dipping sauces etc) and a few other appetizers and drinks. Loved it! And loved not having an adr for most nights.
We also like to go to the Poly and have sushi at the sushi bar outside of Kona. We have ordered from the Kona menu there. That area can get crowded at times tho so either get there early or just have patience and wait for a seat.
I have eaten at the Wave but not at the lounge, but we plan on trying that next trip. It's a hidden gem for sure.

Belle View Lounge does not serve food (except in the AM where it becomes a continental breakfast bar). It is a great place to grab a beverage or to carry up some food that you bought on the Boardwalk.

Belle Vue is our favorite!! Having a night cap on the balcony there is the perfect way to end the evening. :D

Should note that seating at these bars is pretty much first come, first served. many are rather small, so get there early--or go late.

And add Shulas and Fultons (closed now I think?) to that extensive list from Makira--also the Gurgling Suitcase at OKW.

And to say that MRS U and I ALWAYS eat at the bar in every WDW restaurant we go to these days--

Damn, Bill, I hope you haven't just spilled our Belle Vue Lounge little secret!:ssst:

Seriously, the Belle Vue is our FAVORITE Disney watering hole! (Crew's Cup and Martha's Vineyard are close runners up!)

Allen also makes a mean dirty martini! (Tim's a great mixologist, too!)
