Last time we were at MGM (it was MGM then) we ate at Hollywood & Vine. After leaving and going to an immediate left as we left the restaurant we poked our heads in at a little bar/lounge that may have been part of the 50's Diner (?). It was full of old tv's, mid-century memerobilia, etc and looked like a great place to pop in and have an afternoon cocktail/martini. Does anyone know if you can go just to the bar or do you have to have ADR thru the restaurant? And if so, which restaurant it was? DH and I are going in a couple weeks - first trip without kids - and thought it sounded fun.

That is the Tune In Lounge - part of the Prime Time Cafe. Yes you can just go to the bar. You can even order from the full menu at the bar without having a reservation for the restaurant.

It is also part of the waiting area for the Prime Time Cafe so it can be incredibly noisy.

Thanks! This is our first adults only trip so DH and I are looking for some different places to 'imbibe'!

The tune-in lounge is great. Fantastic place to chill for a bit and they will even make you a drink to go! I love it there.
