Louisiana folks

Just a quick question for the Louisiana folks who are at wdw en mass escaping mardi gras.. every year..why does everybody wear LSU shirts and the mardi gras color rugby shirts,etc purple, gold,green?

Probably because most are from South Louisiana and have some sort of connection to LSU (student, alumni, family, fan). And, since it's Mardi Gras, why not sport the Mardi Gras colors?

Because even if we're not in Louisiana, it's still Mardi Gras. And besides, what's prettier than a sea of purple and gold???
