Loud air conditioning in AKV Kidani studios?

Has anyone found the air conditioning in the Kidani Village studios to be extremely noisy or at least noisier than Jambo House studios?

The reason I am asking is because the first time I stayed at KV in a 1 bedroom, the master bedroom air conditioning was loud enough to keep my mother awake at night. Thanks for your responses!

I stayed in a 2br at Kidani and didn't feel the air conditioners were too loud. Sorry you had that experience.

I did notice it a little in the one bedroom last time we stayed but never before, I would say it is an individual thing and bring it to the attention of management.

We had the same problem in Kidani in February. I called maint and next day they left a message that they "fixed" it, but they didn't.

In the future if they don't fix it I would strongly recommend you bring it to the Hotel Manager's attention, not just the front desk or housekeeping managers etc. I had some issues occur that had to go to that level. Please note I am not the type of person to complain or causes scenes. Our problems just went so far that it had to be done. And we found most issues or complaints people have do not get to the manager's attention.

But I love Kidani and will be going back. I won't let the small number of people involved ruin my vacations.

The only thing we noticed was a whistle, it was pretty loud and drove me nuts, I noticed it was only when the air was actually running, it was coming from under the connecting doors to the studio next door, I put a rug at the bottom to block intake air, and the whistling stopped. problem solved, as to the noise in the Master Bedroom, we sleep with a fan so we didn't notice anything.

We've had air conditioner issues with both our stays at Kidani. The first trip, the air conditioner was broken, and it took several days for the maintenance guys to fix it. They did say it was fixed after the first repair attempt, but of course it wasn't. Since this was June last year, and we really needed an air conditioner, we did get the manager involved, but it didn't expedite things in any way. On our most recent stay at KV last week, our air conditioner didn't work properly. We were in a 2 bedroom, and the master bedroom was scorching hot, while the living room area was freezing cold at night. We just dealt with it. I was down at the lobby so many times during the week with problems with our segmented dining plan, that I didn't have the stomach to go to the lobby for the air conditioner issue.
