Lots of Windsor Hills questions

We're staying at WH again in June.:cheer2: Our first time there (back in Oct) we didn't get to use the pool or check out any of the recreation so that will be all new to us. I remember that there is a height restriction on the pool slide and was wondering if anyone can remind me what that is again. Also, are you allowed to take pool noodles, floats, and such into the pool? And where is the big castle playground in relation to the community pool? I'm also wondering how the traffic will be going to and from the Disney parks - we'll be there June 20-27. TIA:)

Oh, one other thing - does the gift shop sell any shirts with the Windsor Hills logo on them? (Okay, that's all I can think of -- for now. I'm sure I'll have more questions before it's all said and done.:rolleyes1:goodvibes)

Height for the slide is 48 inches.
The castle playground is in the pool house area, where it says playground. There's a couple of smaller ones further up also.

What I can remember you can take floats in the big pool. We didn't use it too much because we had a private pool but I remember seeing some.
Don't know about the traffic we've only been there in the fall and winter.
Don't know whether they sell the tshirts either. :)

Hi!!
As Wanda says slide min height is 48 inches and it's enforced by the lifeguard. Rules are that you can use noodles, floats etc as long as they are not getting in others way - never seen anyone told not to and if you see a 10yr old on a huge blue dolphin that's my youngest!! (The child not the dolphin...!)

From the main entrance go straight up Teascone Blvd to get to the castle play area.

Traffic won't be a problem as long as you avoid the 192 as much as possible! Turn left out of WH, left onto the 192 then almost immediately right onto Sherberth Rd. Right onto Osceola Parkway and all the Disney parks are off to your left. Taking that route we've not had any major traffic problems at any time of year including July and Christmas.

The shop doesn't sell WH t-shirts (does sell some Disney themed stuff tho.) Have a great trip! :goodvibes

Thanks to both of you for all the info - very helpful. Is there parking near the playground? We'll be staying a few blocks away in one of the condos so that could be a bit too much of a walk (especially after all the walking in the parks).

There's no parking lot near the playground, most people just park along the side of the street.

It's a 5-10 min walk from the condos - we usually walk but there is plenty of street parking. Also check out the crazy golf / tennis / volleyball recreation area next to the condos, behind 2784 / 2788 Almaton Loop. :)
