We just got back a few days ago and thought I'd give some of you who are headed out in the near future a heads up. We kept coming across a number of things marked down.

There's a blue and white wind jacket on sale for $22 (half off). Its blue with a big white stripe around the middle, and a small Disney logo on one side of the chest.

Obviously a number of Happiest Celebration items are half off.

We picked up Chutes and Ladders to put away for Christmas. It was marked $15, but rang up $12.

The $10 store in the Marketplace had a lot of sales going on. They had the Mickey Bears on sale 2 for $18 (a little more than half off - originally $20 each) They also had a couple girls' clothes and outfits 2 for $10 I think? Then there was a whole corner of things that were 4 for $10. A scrapbooking set, a couple ornaments, a really cute 2 t-shirt, Stitch cup, a couple plush, flashlight keychain, Cruella dog chew, and I think a couple more things. The t-shirts are really cute - especially for $2.50! They're a thin blue plain tee with a small mickey logo on it. I'm not a fan of big logos so this is more my style which made it a surprising bargain.

There's a Finding Nemo colored pencil set on sale for $5. It has Squirt on the front of the case.

There's a 3/4ths length collared red shirt for ladies on sale for $15.99.

I know I saw more, so as I think I'll add to this list. If anyone else sees something feel free to add it! Maybe we can keep track of hidden bargains to keep a lookout for! :thumbsup2

When I get a chance, I'll dig through our souvenirs and try and take pics so there's a visual to go with my descriptions.

Wow! It's usually hard to find things on sale in WDW. We're leaving in 13 days, so I'll definitely be on the lookout. I like to stock up with Christmas gifts!

I know, I was surprised by how many things I saw on sale! I don't think there was a store where I didn't find *something* marked down. I'm usually good for finding one or two red tags each trip, but this was crazy! We usually do the outlets, but didn't rent a car this time. Let me tell ya, with all the red tags sitting on shelves I didn't miss the outlet! I figured the Happiest Celebration merch would be getting marked down, but was surprised at how much "normal" stuff was marked down as well.

And it was nice stuff too. I didn't feel like I was cheaping out at all or buying junk for the sake of getting a good sale price. I'm still in shock about the $2.50 tees. It's a shirt I would have been drawn to on a full price rack. And the bears, I'd been wanting one since I first saw them a few years ago but always talk myself out of it then regret it later, LOL. A few years of patience paid off :rotfl:

Oh! And I remember something else! There are a few really nice photo albums half off as well. It seemed the ones that were embellished with little jewels and designs were marked down. I got a really nice one for $12.99. I saw it across the room and loved it, wanted to buy it before I saw the price and was giddy when I saw the red tag.

Alright, I took some pics of the bargains I took advantage of - hopefully having a visual will be more helpful to those of you on your way in the near future.

Dh got a great fall jacket marked down from $68 to $34 at MGM.

Oooh - thanks for the tip off! :thumbsup2

I was thinking of bring back a couple of Disney Bears to give to my friend's children anyway - even more likely to happen if they are buy 2 for less than the normal price of 1! :cool1:

I hope the "Happiest Celebration on Earth" Christmas ornaments are still available next week, too - fingers crossed! :teeth:

Being the queen of shopping I should know and am embarrassed to ask  But, where is the ten dollar store?

It's in Downtown Disney, right next to the pet store/Pooh Corner . . . it used to be that little "alley" where they had plants, topiaries, etc but now it's all merchandise for under $10. It's usually a waste, typically it's just merchandise you can find anywhere for under $10, not on sale. But the other day, a whole third of the store was clearanced merchandise. For the deals, you do have to buy in multiples. So to get the things for $2.50, you have to buy 4 for $10. The Disney Bears you have to buy 2 for $18 (they ring up at $20, then they take a 20% discount off) Many things are 2 for $10.

They had a TON of ornaments when we were there and a manager was calling for a shipment from the warehouse because the corner was getting slammed, so they apparently have a ton of stuff still in storage in the main warehouse.

Thanks for the pictures! Sounds like you got some good deals. :thumbsup2
