Lots of options for AP renewals

I don't know if this was already posted, but I just noticed all the options for the AP renewals since I am in my renewal window. I thought they did away with parking benefits for the lower passes. My options include parking with all passes, max pass with all passes or non of that with the passes.... etc. Just lots and lots of choices as in MORE choices. I expected less options with the way they have worded changes coming to the annual passes.

It's too bad I am not planning on renewing my AP. I don't plan on visiting enough to make it worthwhile. I wish they offered parking when I bought my daughter's Deluxe last year. I doubt she will renew, but at least she has the option to buy parking with it now if she does.

If your pass currently includes parking, or you have been paying for it ever since they eliminated it, then it is an option for you. You cannot add it if you did not have it. Unless they changed it again! So if you had Signature or SP, and want a Deluxe, you can add parking to it. I did that the first year I downgraded and then got rid of it because another family member who usually goes with us has it.

We have one up for renewal, so I just checked. It only lets me have a one day parking voucher for $20. Not annual parking. And that pass does not have parking currently so I cannot renew parking.

Oh, that's interesting. I do have Signature now. I find it odd that they would let me buy a southern Calif select with parking, but I think it's great for those who want to do that. I noticed the price for Deluxe with parking and MaxPass is about the same price as Signature.

It's always been that way since they got rid of parking. You are basically grandfathered in if you either paid for parking or had it included. Once you drop it you cannot get it back though. I did it the first year I downgraded from Signature to Deluxe, and it offered it to me online then too. I think that was 2 years ago?
