lots of Castaway Cay questions

Just went through our day at Castaway Cay and have questions

While Im running my butt off (knew there was a reason Im walking now) to the best spot can the boys go to Gils Fins & Boats to pickup the snorkeling equip and floats? Is there 1 line for this? I know different for reserved vs nonreserved but is it 1 line for snorkeling equip & floats?

If DH does the snorkel lagoon with DS in the morn can they share the equipment? DH point things out to DS? DS isnt sure if he wants to snorkel or float in the morning while he's with us.

Can the floats be brought to the adult beach? or do they have their own rental pickup location?

Kids club - can we register/drop off at noon? When does the kids club eat? want to make sure DS gets fed. Any good afternoon activities for the 10yr group?

1) The snorkel gear and floats are picked up in different spots which are very close to each other. It should be no problem to send your boys.

2) Yes, snorkel gear can be shared. It is yours to use for the day. They will even exchange the mask for a different size if needed.

3) You can bring your float or just pick one up at the adult beach, as they have a rental location there.

4) Sorry, don't know about the kids clubs!

can i turn in the float at the family beach after we are done for the morn, get some type of receipt and once at adult beach get another float? that way we wont need to lug it

I picked up some great snorkel equipment for 24.99 for myself, and my DD's prior to our cruise in June. It was by US Divers and had a case, snorkel, mask, and fins, and was well made. I know some of the sports shops (like MVP/Decathalon) are having end of the season clearance and it may be cheaper than renting snorkel equipment for the day (isn't it about $24?) Also, we now have our own equipment for the amount it would have cost us to rent! Just a thought. I have been reading your posts, and hope you have a GREAT!!! time.
