Lots of availability in mid-July

I just made some last minute ADRs for July. I was worried about availability but was surprised to get all three of my choices with no problem. Maybe the restaurants I chose are not popular? Sanaa at AKL, Plaza at MK (I have NEVER been able to get an ADR here), and Chefs at Epcot.

Yay!

I was scratching my head over this same thing. I was able to switch my CRT ADR to a breakfast for July 29. I have never been able to get a table at CRT before (our trips are typically booked only 30-40 days out) - and I have had my choice of several mornings this trip. It seems so weird to me.
I also booked Akerhaus, Beirgarten, Chefs, Sanaa, Artist's Point, SciFi, Rose and Crown - all with a WIDE choice of times for parties of 4,5, and 6.

I'm wondering now if the TS restaurants are wide open because the serious eaters are waiting for free dining in Aug/Sep?

Works for me...we are going July 13 through the 23rd. Now I am curious and will be checking the site to see if there is availability at the restaurants we have ADRs for at those times, because I wonder how crowded they will be. My guess is no availability at Le Cellier and it will be very crowded there, but the others are worth checking out.

I checked and the only places where we have ADRs that do not have availability during the time we are dining are Le Cellier (our ADR is July 18th for dinner, party of 4), Chef Mickey's (our ADR is July 13th for dinner, party of 10) and CRT (our ADR is July 15th for dinner, party of 10). Everything else is still available, including lunch at Akershus for a party of 10 and breakfast at 1900 Park Fare for a party of 10! Maybe the restaurants won't be so crowded then. But we will still arrive early for all our ADRs!

I was surprised to be able to book both CRT and Le Cellier for our mid-July trip when I was booking my ADRs in May. I got my first choice for days/times with both of those!

Let's keep our fingers crossed that lots of people are taking advantage of free dining later this summer! :thumbsup2

Wow, I booked both of those 180 days out, back in January!

I am hoping too that more folks are taking advantage of free dining, so the restaurants might be less crowded. But, I am not counting on the parks being less crowded because so many folks stay off-site and eat off-property and so many stay on-site but don't do TS meals!

Agreed. I don't anticipate any lower crowd levels. In fact, I'm bracing myself for the usual tour groups.
