Lots & Lots of Christmas Pics

Hey Linda, I just linked over to this page. I LOVE you holiday pix. :santa: I especially loved the fireworks over the castle, too.
It has been a bad couple of days. On MLK day, my best friend at work's Dad had a massive heart attack. He passed away on Thursday. She was at work, so another friend who drove and I took her home. The viewing was yesterday and the funeral today. MY DD and I had "issues" this weekend - both of us with bad nerves, I guess and everyone else seems to be on my last nerves, too - arguing with DS and DH, too:eek: . Looking at these pix put the first smile on my face for quite some time (since I finally signed back on last week???). :)
I am going to try to figure out how to post pix (any day now) and get some up here, too. Glad your brother is doing better. I had tried to see John O'Hurley, too, but it meant rearranging too many other ADR's, so we settled for Neil Patrick Harris. I am sure John O'Hurley was probably better, but Neil did better than I expected. It is soooo beautiful, it's tough to NOT do a good job.
Fern

I'm so sorry to hear about your friend's loss.

We actually sat just & listened to the presentation by Neil Patrick Harris one night. Of course, the difference in the voices made John O'Hurley better, but Neil Patrick did a nice job. Glad that the pics put a smile on your face!

Let's see how this one does...

Great! I don't know what had happened before. I went back through & just reposted them. Hope you're feeling much better by now.

Thank you! Disney is great anytime of year, but the Christmas season is just the best. There is so much more to enjoy! You can't do it all in one visit. That's a good excuse to keep going back, right?!! :goodvibes

Your pictures from the different resorts are great! It was on our "Itenerary" to hop to the BW, YC, and BC resorts but we couldn't fit into our busy day. Thanks for posting those pictures!

You got to see Samanatha Brown!!! :scared1: HOW exciting!!!! I probably would have made a fool of myself....:rotfl2: I used to love Great Hotels and all of her Disney World Specials are great!!

Great pictures!!!

Great pictures :goodvibes

I cant wait til December to see all the decorations :)

I had to "steal" you fireworks behind the castle as my screen saver - it is awesome. It was raining and too much cloud cover the night we went to MK - you pic was much better. :worship:

Love the pics so far. They are beautiful! Can you tell me how the weather was when you were there? Was it in December? We are going in Dec. this year(first and second week) and we don't know how the weather is then. Thanks and keep up the good work.

Ah, Fern....you can "steal" my pictures anytime!! :rotfl: That's the same one I use for my screen saver. Did yours get blurry???

Wow...you're going for 2 weeks!! :woohoo: Glad you enjoyed the pics! I've been lucky enough to go the past couple of years at the same time...the week after Thanksgiving. The weather has been different each time. Once it was pretty cold for one day during the trip. This past year, it was nice. Although it rained during MVMCP :sad2: A real downpour! I'm usually comfortable wearing jeans throughout the day & evening. Of course, my family tells me I'm crazy! Watch the weather forecasts before you go. Have fun! I'll be looking for your trip report! :surfweb:

I was there the same time as Linda. The weather was really warm and nice this year. I have gone the same time the past two years and it is unpredictable. Two years ago we needed to buy sweatshirts we were so cold in Epcot and the next day at MK, I wore a tank top (carried my sweat jacket, which I needed by evening) and DH wore a golf shirt and was fine. Too chilly to swim, but we got in the pool a couple of times this year. I could have stayed for a month I brought so much, but I like to be prepared.:thumbsup2
