Lost - Season Six (Spoilers Welcome)

I am a huge Lost fan, but like many others was very disappointed in the finale.


All of this season, they kept saying all of your questions will be answered. Well, no they were not! Obviously or there would not be so many pages about what the finale meant.

Talking with friends, here on the DIS, facebook, etc. a lot of people have the same questions and are disappointed. If all of the sideways were not real then what the heck was the purpose of all of those shows? Where was everyone else on the show who was not in the church?

There are many more questions, and I am sure they are a lot of answers from people here, but those are just your opionions/thoughts/ideas...not the answers that Lost promised us.

And after staying up really late to watch the Jimmy Kimmel (sp?) show, that just made me mad!

I was someone who really enjoyed the show, I didn't look at spoilers (not too much), I didn't research all of the stuff on the web, etc. but the ending just really disappointed me.

Lost is my favorite series. I just addicted to it online everyday. I just love to lay eyes on awesome Action, Fantasy, Science fiction and Thriller like Dramatic stuffs. Mysterious of tropical island just crazy me to go far next episode of the show. But at last series has ended with the end of lost season 6. Yet previous yesterday i had gone to watch lost the end online, but at last taste of entertainment with the show lost. Actually i don't like to story of end episode , which was all about resolution of mystery of Tropical Island. Whatever about you, may be you like it but i didn't like to end of lost.

You can read through the past however many pages and find out that the questions you asked above have been answered. You kind of have to piece it together from the various "Lost" threads here at the Dis, but you will find reasons why all the seasons were important, and why each and every moment of the "awakenings" were important.

I've asked this a couple times (of other posters), but maybe you can provide an answer? What questions do you specifically have that you felt were unanswered, and do you think those questions were important to the resolution of the story being told?

In my mind I see Ben & Hurley painting the Dharma Van into some sort of "War Wagon." Whenever someone threatened the source of the island, they would come driving out of the bushes like Mad Max and chase the people away!

In my mind I see Ben & Hurley painting the Dharma Van into some sort of "War Wagon." Whenever someone threatened the source of the island, they would come driving out of the bushes like Mad Max and chase the people away!

And see my vision of Hurley's rein is totally different. I see him as continuing his laid back attitude. After Jack went donw the hole to the light source Hurley and Ben were talking and Ben told him that he didn't have to run things the way Jacob did, and if he wanted he could let people leave the island. Also it was made pretty clear that the majority of the people that came to the island were brought there by Jacob. They come, they fight, they corupt, the die. Hurley ruled by having dinner with Rose and Bernard, playing golf, visiting the mainland every now and then and hanging out. Heck he may have even invited Sawyer, Kate, Miles, Lapidus, and Richard to come visit every now and then. With no Dharma or Widmore looking to harness the power of the island and no MIB looking to sink it and get off it, life was probably pretty mellow.

Just my thoughts but that's what's great about the ending. You get to write your own version.

When all was said and done, who was left on the island? We know Bernard, Rose, Jack, Hurley, Ben and Vincent, but was there anybody else left? What happened to the Others that joined the MIB?

1) This was due to the electromagnetic forces at play on the Island.

2) The polar bears were artifacts from Dharma Initiative experiments. They were kept in the cages that the losties found, and eventually escaped once the DI was no longer experimenting on the island.

I should say that the pregnancy issue is what I took from the show. However there are countless other theories/good reasons why the pregnancies failed.

If you ever get the chance google Lostpedia. You could spend days reading through all of the facts and theories presented there.
