I'm trying to figure out the timing of the flash forwards. Is Jack's FF tonight from BEFORE what happened on last year's finale (he was addicted to pain killers and met Kate at the airport and said they had to go back) or is it AFTER all of that happened ??

I posted most of this on the non-spoiler thread - here are my thoughts on last night's episode:

The first thing I thought when Kate said she was doing a favor for Sawyer was that it had something to do with Sawyer's daughter. Maybe the next of kin of the people who "died" on Oceanic 815 got some kind of settlement and Sawyer wanted Kate to be sure his daughter was taken care of? And Jack is still jealous of Sawyer even though Kate said she'd marry him.

I think Jack now knows (in the flash forward) that he and Claire are/were brother/sister, and maybe when Hurley told him that Charlie said he wasn't supposed to be raising Aaron, that really hurt Jack.

And now at least we know how Kate ends up with Aaron - Sawyer and Miles come back to the beach with Aaron but no Claire. I certainly hope we'll see Claire again and find out what happened to her. Maybe she'll be in the cabin with Jacob once Hurley, Locke & Ben get there??

I never questioned Jack's appendicitis until Rose mentioend. And she's right - the island heals people. And yet people CAN die on the island (Libby, Ana Lucia, Nikki & Paolo, Danielle, etc.). And remember how Juliet was quesitoning why Ben got that spinal tumor when supposedly the Others are immune? Hmm, something's going on.

I'm sad, too, about Danielle and Karl. I hoped we'd find out that they weren't really dead, but looks like they are. Dang!

Also..wanted to add, I feel so sorry for Hurley in his future scenes. Very sad.

When Sawyer was running cons, he got involved with some girl (I can't remember her name) and used her for one of his cons and ditched her. Turns out she got pregnant. Sawyer was in prison, and she came to visit him and showed him a picture of their daughter.

Kate was on the run and wanted to see her mother; Kate's car broke down and at the gas station it was towed to, she ran into Sawyer's girlfriend who was selling fake jewelry. Sawyer's girlfriend helped Kate see her mother and told Kate that she was pregnant.

Thanks! Some of it came back. I remember everything about Cassidy and Kate but I can't remember Sawyer being in jail (did he escape?) and Cassidy visiting him to tell him about the baby. Whas it in the same episode? If not, maybe I missed that week.

Thanks! Some of it came back. I remember everything about Cassidy and Kate but I can't remember Sawyer being in jail (did he escape?) and Cassidy visiting him to tell him about the baby. Whas it in the same episode? If not, maybe I missed that week.

The episode that showed Sawyer in jail shows he got out early by conning a fellow inmate -- Sawyer pretended to be his pal, and tricked the guy in to divulging the location of the money the other guy stole and hid. He was working with the warden and officials, and got out early for his part in helping -- plus, part of the deal was cash, which he had them set up in a bank in (I think) Arizona, for his daughter, Clementine (whose pic Cassidy brought to the jail to show him).

Hope this helps It gets confusing after awhile.

Can it be because they were doing things they were not supposed to do? jack is trying to get everyone off the Island. Ben is just bad to the bone.
