Lost my wedding ring set at HIFS and...

I just had to let you know about our experience at HIFS this past week. Here's the most important:

Tuesday morning I woke up and began getting ready for our day at MGM Studios. As I was getting ready I could not find my wedding ring set (they are together, I have a habit of misplacing things, this is my second set). Everyone was looking, when my 4 year old ds said that he had looked at the rings the night before, but he placed them back. Well, to make a long story short after 45 minutes of searching that suite over, we could not find them, and we decided not to ruin our day, so we headed to the park expecting never to see them again. When we returned, on my nightstand beside our bed was my wedding ring set. I know that it was the room attendant who found them because we had all looked in the spot several times. I was so surprised at her honesty, (her name is Mina) since this set cost us quite a bit of $$$$. I was totally thrilled as was my dh since we were celebrating our 9th wedding anniversary and he thought he was going to have to invest in another set of rings .

The hotel was well worth the $. The last day the kids had their faces painted very professionally by Snapshot. Their faces looked just as good, if not better than the Disney World face paintings. Great week!

Wow! You must've been thrilled! An aside: I am so bad with my rings, I've knocked the diamond out so many times. Lucky not to have lost it. It's my Mom's diamond in my setting. Anyway, I am so bad at breaking it, I don't wear it anymore, and have a nice fake set I travel with. Looks nice enough, and if I loose it, no biggie!

We lost our backpack, I'm not sure where, but it must have fallen off the stroller as we were loading up in the parking lot of HIFS. I didn't realize it was missing for several hours. It had our camera case with charger, cell phone and our Motorola walkie talkies. I thought for sure it was gone forever. We called security anyway we we got back, and sure enough they had it. I don't know if they picked it up on a sweep or if some kind person turned it in. All contents were included! I was so happy, and had a warm fuzzy feeling about HIFS for the rest of the week. So glad you got your rings back!
