I have posted this under the "Tropical Palms" post, but thought I'd put this here also in case people following this story hadn't seen that the two girls were found in A-OK condition today! This has been a big story in Central Florida this weekend - two Georgia sisters (ages 12 & 9) asked for permission to take a walk about 4:30pm yesterday afternoon on the nature trail adjacent to the Tropical Palms resort. Their parents told them to be back in 30 minutes, but the girls never showed. There was a big search, "Amber Alert" activated,etc., and everyone was extremely worried because they just had windbreakers on and the temperature dropped into the low 30's here. But I just heard on the news that they have been found in good condition! I'm sure parents everywhere were elated there was a happy ending to this story!
