I can't wait!! It's bittersweet, finally getting some answers and seeing what happens but knowing that we won't have anymore new episodes after this season.

Love this show too. Sad to see it end. Matthew Fox (Jack) is one of the few who knows what the end is.

Danielle will not be back for the last season. They wanted her, but she had prior commitments.

Heard a rumor that Kevin Durand (Keamy) was filming in Hawaii recently. YEAH!!! Really hoping that one is true.

Lots of dead people will be resurfacing at some point. Boone, Juliet, Claire (not sure if she is even dead though), Charlie, Faraday and Eko.

Rose is back!!! I assume that means that her hubby will be there also. I missed them!!

Locke's Helen will be seen. As will the box company that Hurley owns and Locke worked at.

I will post more as I hear them.

I'm so excited, but I agree it is bittersweet! I just ordered seasons 1-4 on DVD from Ebay for half the price you can get it for at Walmart - supposedly only watched once... I want to watch it all and see what I've forgotten, and what I missed the first time around.

At Comic Con the producers said that they are done with the flash forwards/flashbacks. The sixth season is supposed to be more linear.

I love the series and can't wait for it's return. I'm actually very happy that this is the end. I hate when shows go on for far too long.

My favorite character is Locke. I felt pretty bummed how it ended for him at the end of last season. I hope the character is redeemed at some point. I'm more a fan of the "islanders" (Ben, Sawyer, Locke, etc) than the Oceanic Six. I hope the last season doesn't concentrate too heavily Jack and Kate. I'm so done with the Kate love triangle.

It's nice to have something to look forward to post holiday season!

The results show typically does worse than the performance show. I guess it doesn't matter what the ratings are this year since it's the last season after all I'm just being whiny because it means my dvr gets to go a little more nuts than usual.

I’ve got a new numbers-related Lost mystery for ya. Anyone know what 02/02/2010 means? I do — it’s the show’s return date!

ABC just confirmed that Lost will kick off its sixth and final season with a two-hour premiere on Tuesday, Feb. 2 from 9-11 pm. The requisite recap special will start things off at 8 pm. The following week, Lost will settle into its regular Tuesday-9 pm perch.

The ABC press release announcing Lost’s return date also revealed who among the show’s cast will receive full-time, series-regular billing in season 6. And the winners are… Naveen Andrews (Sayid), Nestor Carbonell (Richard), Emilie de Ravin (Claire), Michael Emerson (Ben), Jeff Fahey (Frank) Matthew Fox (Jack), Jorge Garcia (Hurley), Josh Holloway (Sawyer), Daniel Dae Kim (Jin), Yunjin Kim (Sun), Ken Leung (Miles), Evangeline Lilly (Kate), Terry O’Quinn (Locke), and Zuleikha Robinson (Ilana).

Not mentioned in the press release, but confirmed to return on a guest-star and/or recurring basis, are Elizabeth Mitchell (Juliet), Ian Somerhalder (Boone), Rebecca Mader (Charlotte), Dominic Monaghan (Charlie), Henry Ian Cusick (Desmond), and Katey Sagal (Helen). That list will no doubt grow as the season progresses.

Wow - thanks so much for posting that! I hadn't heard a peep about the premier date. And moving to Tuesdays, huh?

And what a great birthday gift for my oldest DS - he's a HUGE Lost fan, and 02/02/2010 just happens to be his 20th birthday. Hmmm, think I should play the lottery with all those 2's and 0's????
