Hi :wave2:

So I did mine and my BFs Estas a few months back, all went through fine.. I typed the confirmed application numbers or whatever they were into my florida planning document here on my laptop and didn't print them as didn't have a printer connected at the time... My laptop since then decided to have a hissy fit and I lost my documents! :headache: (Luckily not much on there other than my florida planning!)
But that was my only copy of the ESTA numbers.. can i get them back??
I have looked on the ESTA website but can't find anything?
Anyone else done this??

Just reapply for new ones. When you do this your old ones will automatically be cancelled and the new ones validated.

Thanks for that! Didn't realise you could just re-apply! i shall get on it!

I think 10 days have to lapse since your most recent application before you can do a new one, but you are obviously well over that so you will be fine. My one from last year is still valid, but I reapplied because they are proposing charges in the future so it gives me a longer run with this one If I get wind of any news of charges coming in soon, I won't hesitate to do another one to give me even longer to ride on my freebie. ;)

That's really useful to know 2Tiggies. :thumbsup2Our ESTA's from last year will still be valid for this year's trip, but I'll definately reapply before the charges come in. Do you know when the charges are going to kick in so I can apply just before they do?

Nobody knows for certain yet. We are all just waiting to see, but there are a lot of us planning to do new ones as soon as we hear. As long as they don't just spring it on us with no warning.

I must admit I have no idea of my number, we applied in March of 2009 and travelled again to NY this March without knowing it.

I thought as long as you had applied you didn't really need the number

You shouldn't need it. It is all entered into the system so keeping papers is a bit pointless. I do print the Authorized Access page for each of us but they didn't ask for it last year at any point of our journey. As long as you have done it. It would be great if they would give you email confirmation. They have space for your email address. :confused3
