I am a little nervous as I am taking my son and his friend. They are 16 and will be going on there own. Is there anything we can do in case they lose passes. We want them to have there passes for FP and park hopping, but....... I really don't want to have to buy new passes if this happens. I know you sign them and hope they are returned, but is there anything else we can do??????

A few years back one of our family members lost their hopper passes. As a courtesy they issued a one day hopper pass. That left this one family member a day short of their original hopper pass. They couldn't come with us for the last day in the park. That was sad. :(

I would get them lanyards to wear so they can't loose their passes. And let they know they are out of luck if they loose them. A good time to learn responsibility too. ;)

A few years back we lost my hopper. I had the original voucher that had the ticket number(we always carry this on us) took it to guest services and they replaced it with another. No problem.

Yep, I always take a picture of the passes, paying careful attention that you can read the serial number. When we took DGD6 to WDW last year, I even wrote down all the serial numbers on a piece of paper and put it in my wallet.

DGD fell in love with Splash Mountain. We went 6 times in a row. Of course, by that time the passes had gotten soaked, and the FP machines wouldn't take them. So I hoofed back to City Hall to get them replaced. The CM couldn't read the numbers off one of them (it was that badly soaked), so I whipped out my piece of paper with the numbers. She thought that was the smartest idea she saw all day! She promptly took the passes to the back room, and came back out with new ones (which I, of course, took pictures of :thumbsup2 )

Just make sure you have the numbers. That's all they need to replace them. They'll invalidate the old ones and issue new ones with same number of days left.

Thanks everyone. That is a great idea about taking pics and writing down serial numbers. If they can unvalidate the old one, this will work for sure.I feel much better, Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!! Has this ever been on another thread, as its a great bit of info.....

It shows up every so often.

This has been on my mind for a bit...we have seven day passes and I would hate to lose one:(

Thanks guys.

Just curious - I have read that WDW will reissue lost passes if you have the numbers (I always photocopy them) but have read here that DLR will not replace them even if you have copies or the numbers. Does anyone else have experience with lost passes and having them replaced or not replaced?

We had a 6 day hopper replaced with no problems since we had the original slip with the tickets listed by number. They deactivated the lost ticket. At DLR.

My brother had three day passes we bought at the Grand that day. My nephew went to get fast passes and left all 5 tickets there at Indiana Jones. He went to guest services with his receipt from that day and they refused to issue new tickets. They took his name and each day he had to go to lost and found to ask if anyone had turned them in. Then he went to the next line at guest services and they would issue him complementary one day passes. They got to get in but it was a hassle. This was three years ago.

My question would be did the receipt have the 7-10 digit ticket numbers listed. We had no problem 3 years ago.

Officially, Disneyland Resort Theme Park Admission Tickets are Nonreplaceable. Guests are highly encouraged not to lose their Tickets.

However, in the interest of providing our Legendary Guest Service, the Disneyland Resort does reserve the right to reissue previously issued tickets on a Guest Recovery basis.
