I have kept up with old used non-expire tickets for 10 years! I converted them to the new tickets with 2-3 days left, but did not attach all of them to MB/MDE and haven't used them yet. Looks like I might have lost them on our last trip (and didn't know it--left in hotel room, slipped out of bag, etc.).
I have receipts of old purchases (from Boardwalk hotel) and bar codes from the olds tickets--but stupid me didn't copy the new converted ones. Can WDW look the new ones up from the old numbers that were converted? Would the new tickets have been in sequence, so that they could find the numbers from the others in the set? We linked 2 of 4 and 4 of 5 of two sets of tickets.

The old tickets had a longer number-only sequence. The new tickets have a sequence of 1111 1111 X11X. My old NE tickets were from 2005 and 2008. I converted them 2-3 years ago. The new tickets also have a square code (like the things that you scan with an IPhone) and no bar code.

If the old receipts have a sequence of numbers like "WTS:CAS003 2-24-2003 13" (we call it an ATS string or a DSSN - "date/site/station/number") that would be enough for a CM to find them and re-convert them. If they've got the transaction info (which is a similar looking string at the bottom of the receipt but maybe without the date there), someone who knows what they're doing could use that too.

If you have other tickets that were converted at the same time that would also help.

I have copies of the back of the old tickets with the WTS string and both sets of tickets have other converted tickets from the same batch (bought at the same time, converted at the same time) that were loaded onto our MB. We had family members who were not on a prior trip, so I didn't bother to link to MB or MDE--those are the ones that I lost. Thanks, that gives me hope. Which ticket place would be the best shot--MK guest services, DTD, other?

If you've got those ticket information strings, any reasonably competent ticket booth CM should be able to help. There's no need to wait on a Guest Relations line unless you really want to get it done at Disney Springs on non-park time.
