Hey all - I just made these for my girls for our December trip - all you have to do is personalize them (If you don't have the right kind of computer software to do it, I can help ;) ) for your child, laminate them, and tie them to your kid so if they get lost, whoever finds them can call you ASAP.
I was going to spend $$$ on thoes metal tags, but with these, I'll just make a few for each of them (just incase they get bent to much or something) and we are good to go. They also make great luggage tags!!

We use silicone bracelets. I got four of them for less than $12 shipped and we don't have to worry about trying to attach them to a piece of clothing or shoes... and they are waterproof!

We also don't have our children's names or our names on them, just cell phone numbers for me and dh. I don't want strangers to be able to see them and approach our kids by calling them by name.

I did something very similar to this for our September trip and they lasted the entire trip with my kids wearing them every day. I used some heavier cardstock then laminated them...Much cheaper than a metal tag and my kids would never keep those rubber bracelets on! However, my creations were not nearly as ADORABLE as these! Very very cute!:thumbsup2

Me too. I just went to Walmart and made Dog tags at the machine. $5 each and they're small enough to tie on their shoes. Plus their metal so they won't get ruined if wet.

I just wrote "If lost, please call (xxx) xxx-xxxx".

Iand my kids would never keep those rubber bracelets on!

Dd was 6.5yo and 7yo during our trips and she wore hers just fine. Ds was 2yo during his trip and instead of his wrist, I put it on his ankle! Worked out just fine and he couldn't get it off over his shoe!

We did the same thing. As a matter of fact we just used them again this past weekend at Great Wolf Lodge. My DD wears them on her ankle because they are too big for er wrist yet :goodvibes

Side note...When in WDW for the first time, I took DD to a CM and showed her what they looked like, costumes, name tags and such, and instructed her to show the bracelet to practice. The CM said she had never seen that before and how it was a great idea.

Does anyone remember the name of the website to order the bracelets? Thanks!

Just Google "personalized silicone bracelets". There are a ton of companies that make them.

Those are way cute. Thanks for reminding me I need to do something for my kids too.
