Lost annual ticket

My Dad just called and it seems that his girlfriends purse which had both their annual passes in fell in the lake where they were boating...don't ask ... .. anyway - how can they get them replaced...I do have their numbers off the back of their tickets as I have made reservations for them before - but I am not sure which number belongs to which of them....will Disney jsut send them new ones or will they need to get them at the park. My Dad is meeting us there at the end of the month - he is concerned over the finger scan thing that it won't recognize his scan if they issue him a new ticket - I don't have AP's so don't know how to advise him.....any help would be appreciated. You could call guest relations to confirm this, but I think all he needs is his driver's license to get another pass issued to him. It will cost him a little bit of money, maybe $35? But, that sure beats the full cost of the pass.

I lost my AP while at Disney, went to Guest Relations, they took all my info, and issued me a new pass on the spot. Was very easy to get replaced.

We left home without our annual passes one time and guest relations found them, reissued them, and it didn't cost anything. Is the fee new?

If multi-day tickets get lost, you better have copied the back as they don't "store" that information by name.

I misplaced DD's AP in the shuffle of getting wristbands for an EMH evening in 2004. Just went to Guest Services at AK the next morning, they looked her up, and reprinted a new AP at no charge. I haven't heard of any policy change since then, so it should still be free.

For an AP, they have all your info in the computer system so the numbers from the back are helpful but not necessary. For MYW tickets, however, those numbers are of vital importance to get a lost pass reissued.

The replacement APs will take a new finger-scan reading the first time they're used, I believe. Tell your Dad not to stress!

No, there isn't a fee to replace APs. My mom left hers at home last week and all she needed was her drivers licence. It took maybe 5 minutes. Just bring it to guest relations at any of the parks!
