Loss of Use coverage-Are Hertz, Dollar, & Thrifty one in the same?

I called my insurance company to inquire about coverage on rental cars. She said we didn't need to purchase insurance from the rental car company, but she said loss of use was only covered for Enterprise and Hertz. I thought Hertz, Dollar, & Thrifty were all owned by the same company?
Do you think if I rented from Dollar or Thrifty, I would have loss of use coverage?

I think you should not assume that just because they share ownership the insurance company thinks they are the same company. They are seperate legal entities

Why not enroll in the KLM airline FF club and use the KLM code 8572130 to rent from National. Then all the insurance is included in the rental.

Shelly F - Ohio....I would love to be able to rent from National. KLM does not fly from an airport near us. Can I still sign up for their FF program? I have never heard of a code to include insurance. How did you find out about this?
